The Korean American Otolaryngology Society (KAOS) is a nonprofit professional organization.

It was established by a group of Korean American Otolaryngologists who recognized the need to collectively develop professional activities that promote national, international, scientific, and educational cross cultural meetings. (KAOS) was created in 1990 and held it first meeting in San Diego, California. The organization is open to physicians and health care providers who are interested in the field of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery.

The mission of the Society is:

1. To advance and promote medical and surgical otolaryngology knowledge among Otolaryngologists, Physicians, and Health Care Providers.

2. To foster friendly and stimulating scientific discussion among its members by holding annual scientific meetings.

3. To promote research collaboration nationally and internationally as well as improve patient care through research projects.
